Ziada, 50, lost her husband to malaria nine years ago and now struggles alone to provide for six children. Since joining ARZU in 2004, she now earns income steadily throughout the rug weaving process, so she and her family always have enough to eat and are beginning to repay their debt. “Now we can read and write,” Ziada says. “Without ARZU’s help, these things were not possible for us.”

I have always been drawn to Resourcefulness from our h.line Collection. I love the organic nature of the process used to create this rug. The subtle differences in shade adds an interesting texture to the rug. The pattern is understated and easy to incorporate into existing color schemes.
