Muesar, 44, lives in Andkhoi with her husband, five children and nine in-laws. In the late 1990s, the Taliban seized the family’s property and other assets. In addition to losing all that was familiar, many of Mueasar’s relatives developed mental health problems. Now, Mueasar is grateful for ARZU’s work. “ARZU has saved us from misfortunes in this life.
