Mubina, 26, lives with her parents and five siblings. Before they discovered ARZU, they lacked money for daily necessities. These conditions began to change when Keramat and her mother joined ARZU’s program in 2004. “ARZU gives us bonus money and we buy wheat, rice, clothes and stationary for my sisters, who didn’t like to go to school in the past. Now they are attending the courses eagerly, as well as my brothers.”

I have long since had a connection with Hope - a Tribal Heirloom rug and the cornerstone of our rug collection. The pattern dates back to 500B.C. and possesses a history rich with tradition and artistry. I have a Hope rug in my home and, even after all these years, it still reminds me that hope is what guides us all.
